Wednesday: Lines oif Symmetry

A line of symmetry is like a mirror line through a shape. If you fold the shape along this line,
both halves match exactly.

• A square has 4 lines of symmetry (vertical, horizontal, two diagonals).
• A rectangle has 2 lines of symmetry (vertical and horizontal).
• A circle has infinite lines of symmetry (you can draw a line through the centre in any
  direction).
• A regular pentagon has 5 lines of symmetry.
